From the PA Turnpike | From the airport or city | From the West | From the south | To SSAT Group Testing

From the PA Turnpike :

  1. Exit 339, Fort Washington Rt. 309.
  2. Follow Rt. 309 South.
  3. Exit at Paper Mill Road. Turn right at bottom of ramp.
  4. 2nd light – turn left on Cheltenham Ave.
  5. About 1 1/2 miles to traffic light – turn right on Willow Grove Ave.
  6. Straight on Willow Grove Ave. for 3-4 miles, into Philadelphia and Chestnut Hill – turn right (north) on Germantown Ave.
  7. The 1st light north on Germantown Ave. is Southampton Street. 8238 Germantown Ave. is on the left (southwest) corner, fronted by Hipster Home Furniture Store.
  8. Office entrance is just off the corner on Southampton. Look for the Dobson Educational Services sign.

From the airport or city :

  1. Take 76 West, through Philadelphia towards Valley Forge.
  2. Exit at Lincoln Drive, north towards Mount Airy and Chestnut Hill.
  3. Follow Lincoln Drive north until it dead-ends at Allens Lane (about 5 miles), and turn right on Allens Lane.
  4. Allens Lane dead-ends on Germantown Avenue; turn left.
  5. Follow Germantown Ave. north through several lights to the intersection of Germantown Avenue and Southampton Street. 8238 Germantown Avenue is on the left (southwest) , fronted by Hipster Home Furniture Store.
  6. Office entrance is just off the corner on Southampton. Look for the Dobson Educational Services sign.

From the West :

  1. Take 76 East towards Philadelphia.
  2. Exit at Lincoln Drive, north towards Mount Airy and Chestnut Hill.
  3. Follow Lincoln Drive north until it dead-ends at Allens Lane (about 5 miles) and turn right on Allens Lane.
  4. Allens Lane dead-ends on Germantown Avenue; turn left.

From the south (Wilmington, Baltimore, etc.) :

  1. Take Rt. 95 North
  2. Exit at Rt. 476 North (just before Philadelphia Airport) towards Plymouth Meeting
  3. Take Rt. 476 North to the exit for Germantown Pike East
  4. Follow Germantown Pike for about 5-6 miles into Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia. The road becomes cobblestone as you enter Chestnut Hill and is then called Germantown Avenue.
  5. Follow Germantown Avenue south through several lights to the intersection of Germantown Avenue and Southampton Street. 8238 Germantown Avenue is on the right (southwest) corner, fronted by the Hipster Home Furniture Store.
  6. The office entrance is just off the corner on Southampton. Look for the Dobson Educational Services sign.

Directions to SSAT - Group Testing Only :

(Individual testing is administered in the office at 8238 Germantown Ave.)

From Rt. 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) :

  1. Take the Lincoln Drive exit, towards Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill.
  2. Follow Lincoln Drive until it dead-ends at Allens Lane.
  3. Turn right on Allens Lane; follow until it dead-ends on Germantown Ave.
  4. Turn left (north) on Germantown Ave.
  5. Look for Willow Grove Ave., about 6 lights up Germantown Ave.
  6. Turn left (west) on Willow Grove Ave.
  7. Chestnut Hill Academy is about one mile on the left, past St. Martin’s Lane intersection.
  8. Look for signs to the test entrance.

From the PA Turnpike :

  1. Take Exit 339, Fort Washington and Rt. 309.
  2. Follow Rt. 309 South.
  3. Exit 309 at Paper Mill Road; turn right at the bottom of the ramp.
  4. At the second light, turn left on Cheltenham Ave.
  5. At the first light, turn right on Willow Grove Ave.
  6. Cross Germantown Ave.
  7. Chestnut Hill Academy is about one mile on the left, past St. Martin’s Lane intersection.
  8. Look for signs to the test entrance.
