Local educational consultant Jody Dobson
has been named to the
Board of Directors of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA.)

Jody Dobson has been in practice as an educational consultant since 1998, and a full member of IECA since 1999. His practice, Dobson Educational Services, has been located in Chestnut Hill since its beginning. Dobson works with families who are seeking to understand their children’s educational needs, and he helps them find the schools that are best equipped to meet those needs - locally, nationally, or internationally, day schools or boarding schools. His office is also an Independent Test Center for the Secondary School Admission Test
(SSAT.)
Dobson has been active in IECA since joining as a provisional member in 1998. Currently, he is head of the Schools Committee, chairing a joint project between IECA and The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) to develop principles of good practice for consultants and admission directors.
IECA was incorporated in 1976, and is the oldest and most recognized national association of consultants for schools, colleges, and special educational programs.
